Legal & Compliance
Clear boundaries, regulatory considerations, and compliance guidelines for the Zen Labs physician platform.
Physician-Only Access & NPI Requirement
Access to the Zen Labs platform is restricted exclusively to licensed physicians (MD, DO, or regional equivalent) with valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers.
RN, NP, and PA roles are not eligible for independent platform access. Staff may participate under physician-controlled accounts in accordance with clinic policies.
NPI validation is performed during the onboarding process and may be periodically reviewed to support credentialing and enrollment best practices.
By requesting access, you represent that you hold the necessary credentials and operate clinics, medspas, or performance centers under direct physician oversight.
Integrated 3PL Logistics
Zen Labs operates as a platform connecting physicians with integrated third-party logistics (3PL) partners for warehousing, pick, pack, and delivery services.
Zen Labs is not the shipper of record. All fulfillment activities are performed by independent 3PL partners operating under their own licenses and regulatory frameworks.
Orders placed through the platform are routed to 3PL partners for processing. Same-day processing availability depends on cutoff times established by the 3PL partner.
Physicians retain full control over ordering decisions. Zen Labs does not direct, recommend, or influence clinical protocols or patient-specific treatment plans.
No Medical Advice, Diagnosis, or Treatment
Zen Labs does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or dosing guidance of any kind.
The platform provides access to products, program frameworks, and operational tools for use by licensed physicians in their independent professional judgment.
All clinical decisions, including patient selection, treatment protocols, and dosing, remain the sole responsibility of the licensed physician.
Zen Labs makes no representations regarding the safety, efficacy, or appropriateness of any product or program framework for any particular patient or condition.
No Consumer Promotion or Health Claims
The Zen Labs platform is designed for physician use only and does not promote products or make health claims to consumers.
All program content, product lists, technical details, and operational materials remain behind login and are never displayed publicly.
Physicians are responsible for ensuring that their own marketing, advertising, and patient communications comply with applicable federal and state regulations.
Zen Labs encourages physicians to consult with their own legal and regulatory advisors regarding advertising standards, including FTC and FDA guidelines.
Confidentiality of Programs and Product Lists
All physician-designed programs, product catalogs, technical specifications, and operational tools are confidential and proprietary to Zen Labs.
Access to these materials is granted solely for the physician's internal clinical and operational use within their practice.
Physicians agree not to publicly disclose, republish, or distribute platform content without prior written consent from Zen Labs.
This confidentiality obligation helps maintain regulatory compliance and protects the integrity of the physician-only ecosystem.
503A and Compounding Considerations
Some products available through the platform may be compounded or sourced from facilities operating under Section 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
Physicians are responsible for understanding and complying with federal and state laws governing the prescribing, dispensing, and use of compounded products.
Zen Labs does not provide legal advice regarding 503A/503B compliance, state pharmacy board regulations, or patient-specific prescribing authority.
Physicians should consult with qualified legal counsel and regulatory advisors to ensure their practices comply with all applicable requirements.
Recommendation to Consult Legal Counsel
Zen Labs strongly encourages all physicians to work with qualified legal and regulatory advisors familiar with healthcare, compounding, and advertising law.
State and federal regulations governing peptides, regenerative products, and practice advertising vary widely and are subject to change.
This platform is designed to support compliant operations, but ultimate responsibility for legal and regulatory compliance rests with the physician.
Zen Labs disclaims any liability for physicians' independent business, clinical, or regulatory decisions.
